  1. Americanz iz skared of nanos

    Shocking, really, that in a recent University of Wisconsin survey of attitudes towards science, 70% of Americans who probably have never heard the word “nanotechnology” before regard the practice as “morally unacceptable.”  It’s quite hard to believe the results of this survey as credible, and yet more humorous that the UW professor responsible would try to defend its results.

    I can hear the 80 year old John McCain’s 2012 platform now, “Dear Americans, we must rid ourselves of the problem of immigration and the imminent threat of nanotechnology to our country’s moral fabric!”
